The Ranch at Cameron Park is owned by Waco resident, businessman, and philanthropist Todd Behringer, who also owns Bicycle World and Waco Running Company. He purchased the property after it was put up for sale by longtime owners who granted access to the Waco Bicycle Club. In an effort to preserve the trails, he has partnered with Bike Commander and the Waco Bicycle Club in the building of new trails. The new trails went public in mid April, 2017. The Ranch has even hosted a benefit race for NICA TX. Bicycle World is also the chief sponsor of the Waco Bicycle Club.
A centerpiece of new trail development is the innovative Phoenix "Phlowtrack" financed by Brett Schwartz, co-owner of Slow-Rise Slice House. The trail features berms, rollers, rock gardens, and other trail features.
The area is also the center of native Texas flora restoration, as natives are under attack by invasive species in the Cameron Park area.

Accessing the Ranch at Cameron Park
Here are the ways you can gain legal access to the Ranch at Cameron Park:
1. Waco Bicycle Club
The waiver you sign when you join covers 365 days of access. www.WacoBicycleClub.com. This is a benefit of WBC membership, becasue WBC maintains all the trails in Cameron Park as well as advocates for safe urban cycling. 100% of your WBC membership goes to WBC activities. No funds at all go to the Ranch at Cameron Park LLC or Bike Commander LLC.
Q: "I'M NOT A CYCLIST, so why should I join Waco Bicycle Club?"
A: "First, because you get the 365 liability waiver! Second, because we build and maintain trails for ALL to use. Third, because once you try it, you'll love it and become a cyclist! Fourth, because you want to support a healthy, life-long outdoor activity in this sedentary culture."
2. Bike Commander guest
a. If you are not from Waco and prefer a one day access simply indicate agreement to the waiver below.
b. If you are already a Bike Commander client or partner (e.g. Bicycle World employee or Ambassador, sponsored rider, previous collaborator) email [email protected] for an annual waiver.
3. Join the Waco Striders
If you are not a cyclist, join the Waco Striders and request an annual waiver. www.WacoStriders.org
4. Annual Guest Waiver
Even if you are not from Waco and not a cyclist, we hope you will join the Waco Bicycle Club to obtain an annual waiver, since the Club spends a lot of time and effort building and maintaining these trails. Nevertheless, if for some reason you wish not to do this, we can send you an annual waiver for a processing fee of $20, which will be donated to local charities such as the Waco Center for Youth, which borders the Ranch, and the Methodist Children's home, which is in the Cameron Park Residential Area. You may even designate your gift for the City of Waco, Cameron Park.
The $20 donation is NOT an entry fee: it is a courtesy for processing your annual waiver. Entry is always free.
